Bonlecule is an implantable bioactive and is a PMMA-based biomaterial with evenly distributed nano-hydroxyapatite of around 20nm in length. Unlike addition of various hydroxyapatite fillers reported on paper or by other manufacturers, Bonlecule is not susceptible to breakage at 0.4mm printer nozzle, owing to the patented nano-hydroxyapatite-copolymer synthesis process.

Bonlecule is ideal for printing permanent implants and medical devices. Printed objects share similar mechanical property to native bone and demonstrate excellent osteoconductive, facilitating the reparative growth of native bone.

Please note: A new spool of Ossfila Medical Grade Filament is packaged in a vacuum sealed package with desiccant and drying should not be required. If the spool is exposed in air over a period of time, estimated at 2 days, moisture absorption is possible and may affect printing quality. A typical indication of too much moisture is stringing. It is recommended to dry the spool in a 50°C oven for 24 hours before printing.
